Microblading- Permanent makeup

Do you offer Microblaing the same day

Unfortunatley, that option is not available. Due to safelty and liability reasons, a patch test and consultation is required for Microblading services. Please go to the service page and fill out the pre-consultation form before booking!

Am I eligible for this service?

You must book a consultation prior to booking for the initial service. PERMANENT MAKEUP IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY CLIENTS WHO ARE OR HAVE: Pregnant or Nursing Diabetic Viral infections and/or diseases Epilepsy A Pacemaker or major heart problems Had an Organ transplant Tendency towards keloids Seborrheic dermatitis Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.) Sick (cold, flu, etc.) Had Botox in the past 2 months Have upcoming vacations or special occasions planned. Used Accutane in the past year Allergic to anesthetic (Lidocaine) Extremely Oily or Problematic Skin

What are the aftercare instructions?

MICROBLADING POST-CARE 1.Keep the the brow area clean by using a natural fragrance-free gel cleanser (such as Cetaphil) and water. Hands must be freshly clean . Avoid use of abrasive washcloths or sponges. 2. Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph. Apply the after care ointment given (for the amount of days recommended by your artist) with freshly washed hands or a Q-Tip. 3. DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss! 4. COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring. 5. Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers and/or hot baths for 3 weeks. 6. Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any physical effort, gym, hot weather, any other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results. 7. Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days. 8. Keep your bangs and hair pulled back from your face for the first 10 days. 9. NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for two weeks. 10. NO facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. 11. NO botox for 4 weeks. We recommend that it’s best to wait until after your touch up heals to get Botox, as an educated injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject. 12. After 10 days, once the area has healed completely, consider using sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading. Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure. Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed. Here are some extra tips to help with a smooth and easy recovery:

  1. Use a fresh pillowcase
  2. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour
  3. No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
  4. Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week
  5. Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.
  6. Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.
  7. Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days
  8. Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days
  9. Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area
  10. DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area.
  11. Important Reminders
  12. Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your microblading procedure. Don’t forget your new favourite acronym: AWM - Absorb, Wash, Moisturize!
Important note about showering: Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face, or procedure area, should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

How should I prepare for this service?

MICROBLADING PRE-CARE 1. Do not work out 24 hours before procedure. 2. NO drugs, alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!). 3. Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure. 4. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure. Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements 48 hours prior to procedure. 5. Before discontinuing any skin care treatments please get a medical release form from your doctor or dermatologist before you discontinue. I advise to discontinue Retin-A at least 4 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure). Must bring doctors note. 6. Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure). 7. Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables. 8. No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better! 9. Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for 4-weeks prior procedure. Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. I do not reccomend getthing this service during your menstural cycyle.

What is the healing process like?

Healed microblading results are the most beautiful and natural looking way to enhance eyebrows, but the path leading to those anticipated healed results can be a little bit surprising. In addition to following the microblading aftercare instructions, understanding the microblading healing process is essential to avoid undue worry and stress while going through the different stages of healing. *PLEASE NOTE: EVERYONE HEALS DIFFERENTLY SO THESE TIMES ARE ONLY A GENERAL GUIDELINE. MICROBLADING HEALING TIMELINE DAY 1: Eyebrows look amazing immediately after microblading appointment Pigment gradually gets darker through out the day WEEK 1: Pigment reaches darkest level on day two Light scabbing develops where microblading strokes occurred WEEK 2: Scabbing from microblading strokes begin to peel and flake off, sometimes revealing no definite, visible color in skin WEEKS 3-4: Pigment in skin continues to oxidize and microbladed strokes begin to reappear in color intended from the beginning, but some strokes come back looking patchy WEEK 6: Eyebrows fully healed and ready to undergo the finishing effects of touch-up appointment Beautiful eyebrow enhancement/transformation is complete after final touch-up

Do you reccommend getting the touch ups after my initial appointment?

MICROBLADING TOUCH-UP APPOINTMENT Yes, its is highly reccomended to get the 1st touch up to make sure that the pigment from the initial sesson has been implanted into the skin evenly. The touch up appointment makes is considered of going over missed spots and evening out the look for longevity. Gorgeous microblading results are best achieved by dismissing any doubts while undergoing the healing stages of microblading, and continuing to follow the microblading aftercare instructions. Not only is healing a process, but microblading itself is as well. The initial microblading appointment is essential for laying a good foundation, but the final touch up appointment is where the process is completed. Trust the process!

Can you do my lash refill if someone else installed them initially?

No, Unfortunately I do not work on top of someone else's work. Due to various os lash adhesives on the market, it's very dangerous to mix different glues. If you have on lash extensions, and need them removed, it will be an additional fee (see booking form for prices) because it will cut in the time that you have booked.

How long does Lash Extensions last & when do I need a lash refill?

1 set of Lash Extensions can last up to 6 weeks (not guranteed). However depending on your home care, your lashes may shed or fall off if you don't follow the home instructions Lash refills are reccomended every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking fresh. If you book after your 3 week mark, then you will need a new set
*If you arrive to your 2 to 3 week refill appointment and you have less than 1/2 of your extensions on from your last visit, then you will be required to get a full set and will be charged the for the full set that you initially received. Other exclusions may apply! It’s recommended to touch bases with me after a week or 2 of having your lashes done to see how they’re holding up. Every lash cycle is different so some people may need to come in every 2 weeks
Ex: You have only 20 lashes out of 50 lashes on your eyes
